WIPO ASSIGNS PATENT TO INTELRA. FOR "INTEGRATED REPEATER USING AN INTERNET NETWORK AND APPLYING A COMPRESSION ALGORITHM" (SOUTH KOREAN INVENTORS)

Title of the invention: "INTEGRATED REPEATER USING AN INTERNET NETWORK AND APPLYING A COMPRESSION ALGORITHM."

According to the abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "According to one embodiment of the present invention, an integrated repeater system includes: a master unit (MU), which multiplexes a first signal received from a first device and a second signal received from a second device into a gigabit Ethernet frame; and a remote unit (RU) which demultiplexes the gigabit Ethernet frame received from the master unit into the first and second signals, and then performs controlling such that the first signal is transmitted to a first terminal and the second signal is transmitted to a second terminal."

The patent was filed on Dec. 8, 2010 under Application No. PCT/KR2010/008751.
