Fed: Hollingworth appointed next GG =2
Mr HOWARD says Archbishop HOLLINGWORTH, currently Archbishop of Brisbane, is a former
Australian of the Year and has won wide acclaim for his involvement in secular and religious
circles.
Archbishop HOLLINGWORTH, aged 66, will be sworn in as Governor-General on June 29, 2001.
The term usually runs for five years.
Archbishop HOLLINGWORTH is married with three daughters, two granddaughters and a grandson.
